Hydrob OP

Proofing agent for regenerating the water and alcohol resistance of OT textiles.

Characteristics

  • Improves the water pressure resistance even for elder, frequently used fabrics.
  • Repeated application of HYDROB OP ensures improved effects.
  • HYDROB OP is washing-permanent, i.e. for suited micro fibre articles and suited washing procedures, the finishing remains active for up to 25 washing cycles.

Certificate

Regenerates the water pressure resistance in accordance with DIN 53886 of micro fibre fabrics, PES/CO mixed fibres, and cotton.

Improves the oil repellence of textiles in accordance with AATCC 118-1966T.

Application

All details refer to weight % of the textiles, which should be water proofed.

To ensure the correct proofness of washed OT textiles, treatment with 0,1-0,2 % HYDROB OP after each washing cycle is recommended.

To regenerate the waterproofness of frequently washed OT textiles, a treatment with 2-3 % HYDROB OP is required.

The basic finishing requires 5-7,5 % for fabrics made of PES and PES/CO and 7,5-10 % HYDROB OP for fabrics made of CO.

Procedure

Temperature: 30 to 40 °C (86-104 °F)
pH: 4 ± 0.5
Reverse rhythm
Process time: 10 minutes

Finisher: 6 min. passage, 160 °C (320 °F)

Notes
The exact finishing conditions must be adjusted to the plants specific operating conditions.
Insufficient drying may result in the formation of inert gas during sterilization.
