General
Whether it be powder detergents or liquid detergents, the Kreussler washing systems have a modular design for the benefit of professional users. The selection of the washing components and the dosing that has been individually adapted for the washing programme offer the user maximal flexibility. With only very few detergents, the entire spectrum of the textiles to be washed can be covered. This is highly effcient, economical and protects the environment!
The DERVAL product range comprises detergency enhancers, pure detergents and coloured detergents.
Wash-power boosters
Characteristics
Wash-power boosters are detergents with a high content of surfactants that are typically combined with alkaline detergents in the washing process during which the wash-power boosters are the surfactant component so that the selection of the Wash-power boosters is a decisive factor for the cleaning effect.
Wash-power boosters are foam-inhibited, highly concentrated detergents with washing temperatures that have been optimized for the practical conditions. The specification of our wash-power boosters even goes one step further. The products are tailored specifically to the particularities of the textile and/or to the expected soiling.
Wash-power boosters for blue work clothing have been optimized for the removal of pigments and mineral oil dirt. Other wash-power boosters with the application focus on white work clothing have been optimized for the removal of vegetable oils or fats and contain appropriate brightener systems for the work clothing. Wash-power boosters for protective clothing have been developed for low washing temperatures and contain polymers that protect the fibres of the sensitive protective clothing.

Application
After the liquor level has been reached in the washing process and the washing with the single-shot detergent has started, the liquor is heated to the set washing temperature. When the washing temperature is reached, the wash-power booster is dosed in accordance with the degree of soiling of the items to be cleaned. To the washer, this means that the dosing of the wash-power boosteris programmed with temperature stop. For the prewashing stage, the concentration of the wash-power booster is typically higher than in the main wash zone. In industrial laundry operations, several products are often dosed through a central dosing pipe into the washer lines or to the individual washing machines. To prevent the mixing of products on long dosing sections, these dosing lines are usually flushed with cold water.
When they come in direct contact with cold water, concentrated wash-power booster can form highly viscous phases and block undersized dosing lines in the case of low water pressure. Depending on the type of wash-power booster, it is therefore recommended to use a direct dosing line wherever possible or not to flush with cold water. Prior to using the wash-power booster in winter, the containers or barrels must be heated to approx. 15 – 20°C to ensure the dosing accuracy of the pumps.
Single-shot deterg.
Characeristics
Single-shot detergents are alkaline to highly alkaline concentrated detergents that provide the alkalinity required for the washing process. Industrial laundry operations use soft water.
DERVAL single-shot detergents have been adapted to meet the requirements of industrial laundries. If a water softening system is not available, additional OTTALIN products must be dosed into the washing process to complex the water hardness.
With DERVAL single-shot detergents, the washing alkalinity is provided immediately. Single-shot detergents also contain dispersants, surfactant systems and optical brighteners as well as auxiliary agents and fragrances. They do not contain bleach, are the backbone of the commercial laundry industry and are used in the prewash and main wash zone.
Our single-shot detergents:
Derval Solo
Derval Power
Application
Dosing depends on the degree of soiling of the laundry in the prewash and main wash zones. Normally, the single-shot detergents are used in the prewashing zone with wash-power boosters. For blue work clothing, this product combination is also used in the main wash zone. For hospital textiles and white work clothing, a combination of single-shot detergent, wash-power booster and bleaching or disinfecting agents is usually dosed in the main wash zone.
The dosing point is time delayed during the rinsing cycle or after the majority of the water has flown in. Therefore, single-shot detergents are typically dosed with a dosing delay time. Due to their high alkalinity, the liquid products should not be allowed to come into contact with dry laundry. Single-shot detergents can be rinsed without a problem.

For coloured fabrics
Characteristics
As the name implies, coloured detergents are used for washable coloured textiles in the temperature range of 30 °C – 60 °C. Just like single-shot detergents, detergents for coloured fabrics do not contain bleach.
The alkalinity of detergents for coloured fabrics is moderate. Application concentrations have pH values between 8.5 and approx. 10. detergents for coloured fabrics also contain complexing agents for softening the water, polymers, dispersants, a surfactant system that has been adapted for washing coloured textiles as well as auxiliary agents, e.g. fragrances, and provide effective colour protection.
Detergents for coloured fabrics are used for household-related laundry loads. Further areas of application are the washing of signalling clothing with reflective stripes, jeans articles, coloured table linen or textiles of hotel industry service staff.
Our detergents for coloured fabrics:

Application
Dosing is performed after the water level has been reached during the washing process in the prewash and main wash zones.
