HYDROB AquaBarrier is a modern hydrophobic and stain protection agent for the finishing and re-finishing of almost all types of textiles. The treatment provides very good water and dirt repellency and reliably prevents the penetration of water and aqueous chemicals into the fabric. The product is free from PFAS, PFOS and PFOA and achieves pronounced beading effects – without the use of fluorinated chemicals. In addition to excellent water protection, the finishing also offers very good protection against aqueous chemicals such as acids and alkalis, as well as limited protection against alcoholic solutions. This makes the product particularly suitable for textiles where the focus is on water and stain protection and no barrier against oil, grease, or solvents is required.
