Tons of visitors in Milan: Successful EXPODetergo for Kreussler

18.11.2022

The Kreussler team could not complain about boredom: the stand C20 D19 in pavilion 3 at the Milan EXPODetergo was very well attended on all days of the fair. Numerous customers, partners and visitors took the opportunity to get "live" information on the new products OptiCare 50° GREEN and OTTALIN OptiBleach; but also the benchmark solutions such as the original wet cleaning Lanadol invented by Kreussler and the patented SYSTEMK4 as the most sustainable textile cleaning solutions were in great demand.

"We are very satisfied with the fair," said Thomas Zeck, Commercial Director of Kreussler Textile Care. "From the very first day, our stand was extremely well attended, and in addition to the numerous pre-arranged meetings, we were able to make a great many new contacts and talk about highly interesting potential new projects." The flexible modular system OptiCare 50° GREEN, which is registered for the EU Ecolabel, was a real crowd puller, especially in combination with the highly efficient bleach activator OTTALIN OptiBleach, particularly for industrial laundries.

"The large number of visitors shows us that the topic of sustainability is still extremely important," says Zeck. "The fact that we always combine the environmental aspect with the strongest performance - and not only with the new Eco range - convinces especially the demanding industrial laundry customers, for whom excellent washing performance and an optimal cost-benefit ratio are at least as important as the environmental aspect. The fact that our solutions cover all requirements closes a real gap in the market. The topic of sustainability also included intensive discussions with leading figures in the German textile cleaning industry on the subject of CO2 neutrality and corresponding certificates, which are also increasingly requested by hotels and restaurants."

The trade fair stand offered product quality to touch through two clothing dummies integrated into special niches: a chef's jacket with various food stains showed the before-and-after comparison using the new bleach activator OTTALIN OptiBleach, while visitors were able to see – and feel - for themselves, how gentle the original wet cleaning process is on a cardigan made of cosy viscose mix by directly comparing a new half and one treated with Kreussler products.

The stand signage in English and Italian matched the visitor diversity: "EXPODetergo was even more international this time than before," said Thomas Zeck. "The fact that so many events, including Texcare, were cancelled because of Corona certainly contributed to the fact that this year an unusually large number of visitors travelled from near and far abroad. So we not only had many Italian visitors, who were well looked after by our four-strong Italian team, but also guests from the USA, Australia, EMEA, Africa and Finland - but there were also a gratifying number of customers, partners and new contacts on site from Germany."

Another reason to be pleased: Thomas Zeck had the honour to present the award for "Overall Best Practices" to a long-standing Kreussler customer at the Global Best Practices Awards ceremony of the renowned industry organisation CINET: The Scottish Elite Drycleaners have been swearing by Kreussler solutions for wet and dry cleaning for years and use, among other things, the award-winning disinfection solution Cinta Sept in their dry cleaning.
