Customer wishes, e.g. extension of the dosing system by an operating data logging system and visualization of the operational processes, mean additional expenses, but also help to structure the operation, offer the possibility of online control and allow the management to supervise consumption data and production or to carry out calculations in a short period of time. An operating data logging system gives the operation more transparency and support in the case of failures or in troubleshooting. The dosing systems, control systems, operating data logging systems and visualization of the entire laundry process have been adapted to one another due to the modular design and can be extended if required. This allows the technical systems to be adjusted quickly to current needs and to grow with the operation.
Single solution
Depending on which laundry loads are to be washed in the machine, peristaltic pumps offer a cost-efficient solution. Pump blocks with 4 to 6 peristaltic pumps are most frequently used in the practice.
So far the experiences we have made with Brightwell peristaltic pumps have been very positive. The dosing systems require little maintenance and are very reliable.
EASY Dos 1.0
EASY Dos 1.0 for up to 8 washing extractors
Target group of this dosing system are small to medium-sized laundries, homes, sheltered workshops, medium-sized hotels, textile cleaners with enclosed laundry, bedding cleaners or in other words typical on-premise laundries (OPLs).
EASY Dos 1.0 is an automatic dosing system for up to eight washing extractors that feeds up to twelve different products via two powerful high-performance pumps. A target valve control ensures the just-in-time dosing into the appropriate machine, allows short dosing times and avoids or reduces waiting time of the washing extractors. The dosing of the liquid products is performed in ml/kg fabric weight. If the washing extractor is equipped with a scale, the dosing of such a washing extractor can be controlled independently of other machines with a signal from the machine. Flow meters check the dosing line prior to each dosing process and thereby enhance the process reliability.
EASY Dos 1.0 can optionally be extended by an operating data logging system so that the selected programme, customer ID and weight can be acquired for each machine. The 8.5 inch touchscreen allows the clear and direct display of the operating state of pumps, valves and dosings. The gathered programme and dosing data is stored in a *.csv file and can be loaded with an USB stick into a PC to be edited and evaluated with standard spreadsheet software.
Fault messages are visually and audibly indicated. Due container changes are visually and audibly indicated via feedback of the control with the “empty” message. The programme can be switched to manual operation with a simple mouse click. Load and postrinsing times can be specified individually for each connected washing extractor, the machines for dosing can be enabled or disabled at the screen and the screen display can be set to the desired language. Of course the system can be protected with passwords against operating errors or unauthorized access.
All components in contact with liquids are made of special chemical-resistant plastics. Cleanliness and safety are of utmost priority. The dosing equipment is installed to consoles and protected against dust with clear screens that also serve as splash guards.
Multi-Dos
Multi-Dos for up to 10 washing extractors
Our multi-machine dosing system is part of the standards for commercial or industrial laundries. It can easily control all washing extractors in an operation and is suited, depending on the pump type, for operations with a washing capacity of approx. 1 to 2 tons per working day.
This system controls up to 10 washing extractors and supplies the machines with up to 12 products. This dosing system conception ensures short dosing times to the consumers. Each machine has its own dosing line and is controlled individually. Low-maintenance high-performance pumps ensure just-in-time dosing of the required products in up to 99 dosing programmes with up to 5 dosing steps. This dosing system is suited for machines with intelligent control. Older machines can be operated with programme selector switches.
With an operating data logging system, programme, customer ID and fabric weight can optionally be acquired with a separate terminal at each washing extractors. A user-friendly 17 inch touchscreen allows the clear display of the operating processes, and the integrated language selection displays the texts in the selected language. Dosing quantities are displayed in ml/kg fabric weight and can be adapted to the different loads or machine capacities. Data acquisition is performed separately with a network-compatible computer. The gathered data is read out of the control at regular intervals and can be accessed at any time. The visualization of the entire system can also be set up on the external network computer to enable the laundry manager to check the dosing equipment of the organisation at any time and in real time.
For a better distinction, the dosing lines are displayed in different colours. The coloured representation of the valves shows in real time where which product is currently being supplied and which machine has just requested a dosing. The currently delivered dosing quantity and possible devations from the target are displayed online.Washing machines equipped with a corresponding device for a separate stop signal can be parked momentarily until the dosing line is ready again after multiple requests. This prevents that dosings arrive at incorrect wash baths.
The Multi-Dos system can be mounted to wall consoles or to variable consoles. All components in contact with liquids are made of special chemical-resistant plastics. Clear screens protect against dust and also serve as splash guards for the dosing equipment.
